Simple thoughts about fashion & music.

As Seen in Harper’s Bazaar

Some people like to go to museums to see art. I look at fashion magazines. One of my favorite museums is Harper’s Bazaar and the August 2012 issue did not disappoint. Harper’s likes to focus more on stunning pictures rather than articles, so needless to say, most of the magazine ends up on my refrigerator. Apparently I like torture in the form of looking at things I can’t afford every single day.

Just like I’m sure you’re sick of Rachel Zoe, I’m sure you’re also sick of Jil Sander. I love what I love. This jumpsuit was from the Fall 2012 collection, and while I mostly prefer color to muted tones, this sleek suit could not be ignored.

Lauren Santo Domingo in Oscar de la Renta. I still go back and forth between love and pure ridiculousness with this.

Cover girl Rihanna in Calvin Klein. I’m not usually a fan of Mr. Klein and Mr. Costa (too simple) but with the sleekness and aptly-placed cut-outs of this dress, I think I can conform. Further proof that Rihanna can make even the simplest things hot.

In one of their endlessly amazing fashion spreads, Harper’s showcases a Tom Ford evening gown.
